The South Wales Trunk Road Agency (SWTRA) has been formed following the Welsh Assembly Government (WAG) review of trunk road management in Wales.
As one of three new agencies in Wales, the agreement to manage the South Wales Agency was awarded to Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council for an initial 5 year period starting on the 1st April 2006.
